Two Americans living and working in Florence, Italy, the first of which is Jules Maidoff (b. 1933), Founder and Director Emeritus of Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence whose recognized work already belongs to several international collections including Portugal. Jon Verney (b. 1987) graduated with a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston in 2010, and continued his studies at SACI (2009-2011) as an undergrad, as well as in the Post-Baccalaurate program. From there, he became a teaching assistant and is currently having an exhibition in the SACI Gallery: Atlante. This is the first time his work is being presented in Portugal.

SACI is a US non-profit College of Art and Design in Florence, Italy, for undergraduate and graduate students seeking accredited instruction in studio art, design, conservation, art history, and Italian language and culture.
