Giuseppe Penone at Forte Belvedere

The protagonist of important exhibitions and author of several permanent installations scattered around the world, the artist joins a list of some of the greatest sculptors of the 20th and 21st centuries exhibited at the Forte Belvedere, famous Italian and international artists Henry Moore, Fausto Melotti, Umberto Mastroianni, Arnoldo Pomodoro, Beverly Pepper, Mimmo Paladino, and Michelangelo Pistoletto.

With Prospettiva Vegetale, Penone dislocated the imposing walls of the fortress, the exterior spaces, and the interior of the building, fueling an intense dialogue between sculpture, architecture and landscape, but also between past, present and future. The installation continues at the Boboli Gardens.
