Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at 6pm, the Brooklyn Museum celebrates the election of Elizabeth A. Sackler as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the museum.

Elizabeth A. SacklerDr. Sackler has served on the Board of the Brooklyn Museum since 2000 and in 2007 she founded the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art which features The Dinner Party installation by Judy Chicago, a feminist art icon from the 1970s.

SACI logoSACI is proud to include Elizabeth A. Sackler as a donor and a member of the Friends of SACI. In 2004, the Elizabeth A. Sackler Museum Educational Trust SACI Scholarship was created for female students wishing to study abroad at Studio Art Centers International. The SACI community is looking forward to this November when Dr. Sackler will be giving a lecture on “Changing the Course: Women, Art & the Art Market” at SACI in Florence.
