Last week the exhibition 19 Square Meters of Hell, photographs by Antonio Manta opened in SACI’s Maidoff Gallery. Beautifully printed black and white images showing the tough reality of living conditions in a 19 square meter environment and the consequences of alcoholic dependencies in Zambia as seen through the photographer’s eyes while on a quest with colleagues to found the humanitarian foundation Gli Occhi della Speranza. Images from the opening night can be seen here below.
