T.I.N.A. Art Prize – Open Call for projects, deadline: October 31, 2014

tina-prize

T.I.N.A. is an international platform which allows you to be in contact with a network of galleries, exhibition spaces and curators who will value new artists in order to create exhibitions and initiate collaborations. T.I.N.A. is open to artists of all ages, levels, nationalities, ideas, and mediums.

There are currently three editions of T.I.N.A. in the cities of Barcelona, Berlin, and Rome. Artists are eligible to subscribe for one, two or three cities, interacting with a jury of galleries divided by area and with an international team of curators. The basic subscription fee for one city is 35 euros. Subscription to additional cities is discounted by 55% (15 euro per city).

By subscribing to T.I.N.A. you will be in contact with the galleries within each selected city. Each gallery will evaluate the work of all subscribed artists, they will signal their favorites and will choose their selected winner, with which they will then collaborate to create his/her solo show. For each gallery there will be one winner.

The exhibitions that each gallery will dedicate to their winning artists will be organized directly between gallery and artist regarding all aspects (date, duration, works, organization). The T.I.N.A staff will not intervene with the preparation of the exhibitions but will only manage the following simple rules: the winning artist will be freely chosen by the gallery with the exception of artists with whom they are or have collaborated with beforehand; the gallery is forbidden to ask the artist for any economic contributions. The communication and diffusion of the exhibition are curated by each gallery according to their guidelines with the help of the T.I.N.A. staff. The artist is responsible for the cost of transport and insurance, unless other accords are made with the gallery.

The team of international curators and galleries in the jury are on the relevant sites of the three editions:
barcelona.tinaprize.com for the city of Barcellona;
berlin.tinaprize.com for the city of Berlin;
roma.tinaprize.com for the city of Rome.
On each website you can find the online subscription form.

Deadline: October 31, 2014Before this date artists can subscribe and publish their portfolio to a personal profile page on the website. During this time subscribed artists are able to update and add new artworks to their personal profile page, view other artists’ pages and to check preferences towards their artworks by curators and galleries.

Any request for help or assistance can be sent to info@tinaprize.com.
