SANTITOS

PRINTS FROM THE RENE ARCEO PRESS

NOVEMBER 6 – DECEMBER 9, 2014

OPENING RECEPTION: THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6 from 6-8PM

SACI presents in the Maidoff Gallery, an exhibition of Saints interpreted by contemporary artists of printmaking (acquatints, etchings, relief prints, lithographs, linocuts, engravings, etc.) primarily from the U.S. and Mexico sponsored by Rene Arceo Press of Chicago. The print portfolio, Santitos, is rich in content with a variety of styles and printing techniques. Each artist in this group project brings a new trajectory by manifesting their implicit beliefs, and with their individual styles allows us to peek into the interlinings of faith through their images.
