Familydom, Visible White Photo Prize 2015, 4th edition

Which new iconographies can represent the family?
In which ways can you question the family’s status as a socially significant institution today?

Francesca Fabiani, curator and head of Photography Department of Architecture’s Museum at MAXXI, Rome, and Paul di Felice, Professor at the University of Luxembourg, are curating Familydom, 4th edition of Visible White Photo Prize 2015. They are keen to see your photographic takes on these and other family issues.

Familydom is an open call for photographic projects open to photographers and artists worldwide, without limits of age or experience.

€4,000 cash prizes for the ‘Best Project’ and for the ‘Best Runner-up Project’.

10 selected projects will be chosen by an international jury:
Peggy Sue Amison, Artistic Director, East-Wing, Dubai
Christian Gattinoni, Professor, Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie, Arles
Elisa Medde, Managing Editor, Foam Magazine, Amsterdam

The finalist projects will be exhibited from May 15 to June 12, 2015 at Fondazione Studio Marangoni, Florence, Italy, and will be included in a specially prepared catalog for the show.

Deadline for entry is February 28, 2015.
