The second-year SACI MFA in Studio Arts students are getting ready for their final exhibition coming up in April. Some have even cleaned out their studios in preparation for recent studio visits. They presented their work to collector, member of the Friends of SACI, and Director of Firenze Città Nascosta, Marcella Cangioli, and to independent curator and Artistic Director of Kunst Meran / Merano Arte, Valerio Dehò.

Back to getting dirty in the studio, with only about 2 months left to produce their work and refine their projects, the SACI community is anxious to see the results after 2 years of graduate studies in Florence. Details about the SACI’s Graduating MFA Student Exhibition Finissage and Commencement Ceremony on Friday, April 24, 2015 will be announced soon. Keynote speaker: Artist Lawrence Carroll. An honorary degree will be awarded to Dr. Elizabeth A. Sackler, who will be in attendance. The Commencement will be followed by a reception.
