In its first two editions, GuatePhoto has witnessed a transformation of the Guatemalan and Latin-American photography scene creating a new space for dialogue, an exchange of multicultural ideas, along with being an interface with a wider public for participants. In its third edition, GuatePhoto Festival continues its effort to generate intellectual, cultural, social and economic value for a region that has warmly opened themselves to photography.

Starting November 12th, 2015 the cities of Antigua and Guatemala will be immersed in photography; exhibitions in museum, galleries, gardens, warehouses, streets, bus stations and public spaces will be flooded by the work of internationally acclaimed photographers and the best local talent, dedicated to contemporary photographic creation while gathering the talent of established and emergent artists, critics, cultural agents, institutions and the general public.
