From These Hands: A Journey Along The Coffee Trail

“From These Hands: A Journey Along The Coffee Trail” is the exhibition title of photographs by internationally renown photographer, Steve McCurry, for the first time seen in Venice.

Sixty-two images captured by McCurry from 30 years of his travels around the world: Brazil, Burma, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Perù, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Vietnam, and Yemen, all have a central theme: the production of coffee. The exhibition is organized by Italian coffee company Lavazza as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility project promoting sustainability and improvements in communities and places around the world where coffee beans are grown and harvested.

McCurry is one of the most famous and authoritative reporters of National Geographic, a member of Magnum Photos, and the winner of numerous prestigious awards.
