The Palazzo Pretorio Museum in Prato, just outside of Florence is hosting the exhibition, SYNCHRONICITY through January 11, 2016. Curated by Stefano Pezzato and Francesco Procopio, the exhibition includes art works from some of the most significant artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, placed within a historical context alongside works from the museum collection of the Late Gothic and Renaissance artists such as Donatello and Filippo Lippi, creating a “synchronicity” between the past and the present. An innovative selection of over 30 works of contemporary art – with painting, sculptures, photos, videos and installations – are interspersed in the rooms of the renewed Palazzo Pretorio Museum.

Where: Palazzo Pretorio is located in Piazza del Comune, in the historic center of Prato, an easy walk from the station leads to the Serraglio (500 mt), Central Station (1200 m) and links to the main urban and suburban buses.
Open: every day except Tuesday from 10:30am to 6:30pm. The ticket office closes at 6pm.
