The Center for Italian Modern Art, a non-profit exhibition and research center based in New York and dedicated to the promotion and study of modern and contemporary Italian art, welcomes applications for its 2016-17 fellowship program.
Each academic year CIMA presents an annual exhibition that provides the theme for the organization’s activities for the year. Past seasons were dedicated to Fortunato Depero and Medardo Rosso, respectively, while the current season focuses on Giorgio Morandi. The 2016-17 season will be devoted to Giorgio de Chirico and Giulio Paolini.
Alongside exhibitions and public programs, CIMA offers art historical fellowships at the master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral level, for study in New York or research in Italy.
