Hexahedron & More

An International Showcase of Artworks

Wednesday, February 3 at 7pm – Via Sant’Egidio 17, Florence – Italy

In an attempt to contribute to the artistic spirit of Florence, Italy, and in cooperation with Studio Art Centers International (SACI) and Jordanube for Arts, Hexahedron & More brings to you a special selection of artists from across the globe.

Fadi Daoud is a Jordanian born, internationally celebrated artist, graciously opening his private Florentine studio to the public. With a collection of works spanning nearly thirty years of experience and expertise, Daoud’s intercontinental practice has found another home within this historic city.

Hexahedron & More is showcasing artists chosen for their individual aesthetic and variety. Works presented are meant to breathe new meaning into theories of contemporary globalization. The space, an empty storefront now acting as a private studio, is given new life through a series of weekly events open to the public, including presentations of works, collaborative painting, live music and poetry readings, as well as evenings dedicated to specific locations across the globe.

SACI students in MFA in Studio Art and MFA in Photography are being featured: Fadi Daoud, Lisa Fracica, Leon Jones, Amaan Khalid, Trevor Micah, April Moon, Rebecca Morris, Ana Lìa Orézzoli, Lindakay Papadakis, Keri Rosebraugh, Jessie Taylor, Meredith Taylor, Hana Sackler, Meaghan Sweeney, together with Khaldoon Daoud, and Loai Daoud.

In a time of increasing inter-connectivity, these pop-up events will act as a bridge across the many lands and waters which separate us all by celebrating the complex diversity and culture that lives right here with us in Florence.
