In collaboration with the Tuscan Anglo-American Festival: March 9-11, 2016.

This exhibition shows paintings by Ornella Baratti Bon from a series of work characterized by narrative and theatrical content developed from almost twenty years of research from the 1990s to 2010. These works representing scenes of theaters and other interiors have predominantly dark tones but are never in darkness. Baratti Bon has shown her work mainly abroad in Belgium, Holland, England, Germany, and Japan.

Ornella Baratti Bon lives and works in Florence where she was born. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. She has been exhibiting in Italy and abroad since the 1960s, and her works are in public and private collections the world over.

Questa esposizione mostra pitture di Ornella Baratti Bon provenienti da una serie di lavori caratterizzati dal contenuto narrativo sviluppato in quasi venti anni di ricerca, dal 1990 al 2010. Questi lavori, che rappresentano ambienti di teatri e molti interni, hanno la predominanza di toni scuri ma non sono mai tenebrosi. Ornella Baratti Bon ha esposto il suo lavoro per lo più all’estero in Belgio, Olanda, Germania, Inghilterra e Giappone.

Ornella Baratti Bon vive e lavora a Firenze dove è nata. Ha studiato all’Accademia delle Belle Arti di Firenze. Si esibisce a Firenze ed all’estero fin dagli anni ’60, ed i suoi lavori sono presenti in collezioni pubbliche e private nel mondo.
