SACI Gallery – Florence, ITALY
Last week, the exhibition Notturni, of Florentine artist, Ornella Baratti Bon, opened in the SACI Gallery. This exhibition features paintings from a series of work characterized by narrative and theatrical content developed from almost twenty years of research from the 1990s to 2010. These works represent scenes of theaters and other interiors with narratives based in fantasy. Baratti Bon has shown her work mainly abroad in Belgium, Holland, England, Germany, and Japan.
Ornella Baratti Bon lives and works in Florence where she was born. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. She has been exhibiting in Italy and abroad since the 1960s, and her works are in public and private collections the world over.
