A PLACE IN BETWEEN

SACI First-Year MFA in Photography Exhibition

While stepping into a place, you are in a state of displacement and change. What is before and behind does not define you. You’re resting on a threshold. Each photographic series explores the nature of a transitory state. These moments are easy to disregard, yet are the core of all growth.

Last week (April 15-18, 2016) the exhibition, A Place In Between, selected works by first-year SACI MFA in Photography students: Polina BessonovaAndrew Gatti, Leon Jones, and Cora Rozencohn, was held in the Tethys Gallery in Florence, Italy. A mid-way point during the two-year program, the exhibition gives the students a bench mark for their research and projects for the upcoming year, and gave them an opportunity to show their work in a professional gallery.
