May 21 – September 24, 2016

Marta Dell’Angelo / Serena Fineschi
Curated by Pietro Gaglianò

Galleria Passaggi, Via Garofani 14 – Pisa, Italy

corpo a corpo takes shape as an investigation of the size, of the tangible and visible quality of physical presence, and of the way in which the simple manifestation of the body can constitute a political statement. While different in their respective approaches, the visions of Marta Dell’Angelo and Serena Fineschi act along a broad arc of the visible: from the taxonomic representation of an iconography of the body, to the construction of conditions and coordinates which are activated through the breakdown of conventionally expected codes.
