Premio Francesco Fabbri per le Arti Contemporanee

The fifth edition of the Francesco Fabbri Prize for Contemporary Arts is accepting submissions through September 5, 2016, and is open to artists all over the world.

The competition is divided into two sections: Emerging Arts and Contemporary Photography. The first is dedicated to artists under 35 that may participate with any visual creative form: from painting to installation, photography to video art, performance and sound art to design and graphic arts.

The second section, devoid of age limits, is dedicated to Contemporary Photography through a variety of diverse concepts of the photographic medium, in continuity with the Francesco Fabbri Foundation that promotes the Festival F4 /.

Two winners will receive a purchase prize of 5,000 euro each, the works will become part of the permanent collection at the Francesco Fabbri Foundation to be kept in the residential center of Casa Fabbri.

The prize, organized by Carlo Sala, presents a prestigious jury consisting of critics and curators including Andrea Bruciati, Martina Cavallarin, Daniele De Luigi, Pietro Gaglianò (SACI Instructor), Francesca Lazzarini, Marinella Paderni, Eugenio Viola, and Francesco Zanot.

Artworks of the finalists will be exhibited at Villa Brandolini in Pieve di Soligo (TV) November 26 – December 18, 2016. The winners will be announced during the vernissage in the presence of the participants, the press, and the public.
