Hana Sackler, SACI MFA in Photography Graduate, chosen for first edition of Sideluck Prato: September 30, 2016

Hana Sackler (SACI MFA in Photography Graduate 2016) is one of 20 international artists chosen for the first edition of Sideluck Prato (near Florence, Italy), the theme of which is “Mapping.” The multimedia projects were chosen by the curators from 100 different submitted from around the world.

Slideluck Prato will be held September 30th at 8:00 pm in the space of the association [chì-na], an ex-factory in Prato’s China Town on Via Pistoiese 138, and will perfectly respect the essence of the city’s archeology, industry, and multicultural spirit. During the evening’s event, the spirit of conviviality towards the sharing of photography and food, with the work of the selected artists projected in the presence of the three curators, Sara GuerriniArianna Rinaldo, and Paola Paleari, as well as Maria Teresa Salvati, head of Slideluck in Europe.

Hana Sackler

Slideluck (formerly Slideluck Potshow) is a 501c3 non-profit arts organization dedicated to building and strengthening community through food and art. Since 2000, Slideluck has been bringing events that combine a multimedia slideshow with a potluck dinner to over 85 cities and communities all over the world.

Slideluck is a forum for exposing artists, curators, collectors, editors, and the public to new work, while infusing the arts community with a non-commercial vitality and refreshing exchange. Slideluck has become a place for artists and arts-appreciators to come together and share their work in a congenial, non-competitive atmosphere. Each event is localized in that artists from a community present work to that community.
