Bill Mazza’s The Dreamland Method for Creative Thinking:

November 15th at 4:30pm in SACI’s Maidoff Gallery, Guest Lecturer William Mazza will present The Dreamland Method for Creative Thinking for SACI’s MFA in Communication Design class. Open to all SACI students and faculty.
Born and raised in Boston (Massachusetts), Bill Mazza attended The New England School of Art and Design and The Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts. His career as a creative director, art director and designer includes 30 years of experience in the fields of creative marketing, promotional advertising and event planning for international companies in Florence, Milan and Rome.
Currently professor at The European Institute of Design (IED), Elis Corporate School, and Geeks Academy in Rome where he teaches courses for “Creative Thinking and Design Thinking,” and conducts corporate seminars and workshops for some of Italy’s largest companies using his method.
In his lecture Prof. Mazza will show how entrepreneurial creativity can start from the roll of dice according to the “Dreamland Method” that he invented. For the past 5 years The Dreamland Method had and continues to have phenomenal results verified by 100 testimonials.
Through examples and case studies he will explain why creativity is a decisive factor in competitiveness in many different sectors including Fashion and Marketing. The creative process “becomes a way of thinking”and it is a fundamental skill for the productivity of firms and essential for anyone pursuing a creative direction role.

SACI Artists & Designers Council member Paul Karasik, American cartoonist, graphic novelist, and teacher is giving a guest lecture at SACI: Comics and the Art of Cartooning on Wednesday, November 23 at 1:15pm. The presentation will be held in SACI’s Jules Maidoff Palazzo in SACI’s Illustration classroom. Open to all SACI students and faculty.
