How do ART & SCIENCE combine towards an innovative future?

Artists and creative thinkers from around the world responded to SACI’s #FromGalileoToMars Instagram Contest with works in painting, drawing, etching, digital art, scientific and historical research, photography, installation, audio, and video. The selected works approach art and science as intertwining fields, exploring themes of micro and macro; the universe and the self; medicine and biology; real and fantastic beings of scientific and artistic study; inner and outer landscapes of exploration; the sublime and the historical significance of the beyond; pattern, complexity and mathematics in nature; and possibilities of future technologies.
