Artigianto e Palazzo @ the Palazzo Corsini, Florence: May 18-21, 2017

Giardino Corsini

Giardino Corsini

artigianatoepalazzo2017The 23rd edition of Artigianato e Palazzo is taking place May 18-21, 2017. This is your chance to visit the gorgeous private 16th-century gardens of the Palazzo Corsini, experience artisan handicraft demonstrations, and shop for unique hand-made products. Many of the skills on display are traditional Florentine trades that have been handed down through the centuries and many are risking extinction due to the lack of new generations taking on the trades.

Nearly 80 artisans from all over Italy and abroad will display and demonstrate their craft trades and techniques using various materials such as glass, fabric, paper, wood, stone, metals, and more. Support local artisans and keep their traditions alive!

The BLOGS AND CRAFTS initiative, with the support of Fondazione Ferragamo in collaboration with Starhotels and Source, will celebrate its 4th anniversary as a unique opportunity for growth and recognition offered to young artisans under 35. In this part of the fair, 10 talented artisans have been chosen to exhibit for free and will receive coverage from 10 bloggers in the fields of artisan crafts, tourism, fashion, lifestyle, and food, as the bloggers follow the events of the show.
