What is Studio Arts College International?
SACI is a US non-profit 501(c)(3) College of Art and Design in Florence, Italy, for undergraduate and graduate students seeking fully accredited (NASAD) instruction in studio art, design, conservation, art history, and Italian language and culture. Founded in 1975, SACI offers the following programs: Academic Year Abroad; Academic Semester Abroad; Late Spring & Summer Studies; One-Year Post-Baccalaureate Year Abroad in Studio Art or Conservation; Two-Year MFA in Studio Art; a Two-Year MFA in Photography; a Two-Year MFA in Communication Design; a Three-Year Low-Residency MFA in Studio Art; a One-Year MA in Art History; and a Venice Summer Program.
SACI’s mission is to provide undergraduate and graduate students with a challenging, life-enhancing experience in the center of Florence in traditional and contemporary studio arts, design, conservation, and art history. Students directly access centuries of Italian culture through a wide range of courses of academic excellence. SACI engages in leading areas of research and exploration, interacts with the community through artistic and social programs, and prepares students to excel in their chosen field.
