Artefiera Bologna International Fair of Modern + Contemporary Art: January 27-30, 2017

ARTEFIERA January 27-30, 2017: once again this year with the 41st edition, Bologna hosts Artefiera: International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, with the new artistic director Angela Vettese. This is one of the most important contemporary art fairs in Italy and is only a quick 35 minute train ride to Bologna from Florence, and SACI students love attending this big event every spring!

“UNDERWATER: Objects & Artifacts Restored by SACI” works damaged by the Florence Flood of 1966, through November 10, 2016

November 4, 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the historic and devastating Florence Flood. For this occasion, the exhibition Underwater: Objects & Artifacts Restored by SACI documents the restoration by SACI.

To tie in with the Ai Weiwei. Libero exhibition, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi’s Education Department has devised this special project for students of the Italian and international art academies operating in Florence.
