ARTEFIERA January 27-30, 2017: once again this year with the 41st edition, Bologna hosts Artefiera: International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, with the new artistic director Angela Vettese. November 4, 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the historic and devastating Florence Flood. For this occasion, the exhibition Underwater: Objects & Artifacts Restored by SACI documents the restoration by SACI.

Earlier this month, in the fall sunshine, SACI’s Drawing students visited the expansive Boboli Gardens with instructor John Taylor to sketch and draw the landscape with black pigment en plein air.

SACI MFA Students participate in “Political Objects” project at Palazzo Strozzi, Ai Weiwei exhibition

To tie in with the Ai Weiwei. Libero exhibition, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi’s Education Department has devised this special project for students of the Italian and international art academies operating in Florence.
